The AAFT University Conference Series is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and integrity. The journal follows internationally recognized ethical guidelines to ensure transparency, quality, and trust in scholarly publishing. Ethical conduct is expected from all parties involved, including authors, reviewers, editors, and the publisher.
Editorship
The editorial team of the AAFT University Conference Series is responsible for maintaining academic quality and integrity. Editors make independent decisions regarding manuscript acceptance based on scholarly merit, originality, and relevance.
Editors ensure a fair, unbiased, and timely peer-review process, selecting qualified reviewers and maintaining confidentiality throughout. Editorial decisions are not influenced by commercial interests, and any conflicts of interest are properly managed.
Ethics
All stakeholders must adhere to ethical research and publication practices. Authors must ensure originality, proper attribution, and accuracy of data. Reviewers must provide objective and constructive feedback, while editors must act with fairness and transparency.
Ethical misconduct such as plagiarism, data fabrication, falsification, or duplicate submission is strictly prohibited and will lead to rejection or retraction.
Transparency & Best Practice
The journal promotes transparency in all aspects of publication, including authorship, funding, peer review, and editorial decisions. Clear policies are maintained for submission, review, and publication processes.
Authors are required to disclose all relevant information to ensure accountability and reproducibility of research findings.
Plagiarism
Plagiarism in any form is unacceptable. This includes copying text, ideas, data, or images without proper attribution. All manuscripts are screened using plagiarism detection tools.
Submissions must be original and not under consideration elsewhere. Any detected plagiarism will result in immediate rejection and possible blacklisting.
Conflict of Interest
All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose any conflicts of interest that may influence the research or its evaluation. These may include financial, institutional, or personal relationships.
Undisclosed conflicts are considered a breach of ethical standards. If a conflict exists, appropriate measures such as reassignment of reviewers or editors will be taken.
Informed Consent
For research involving human participants, authors must confirm that informed consent was obtained from all participants.
Participants should be fully aware of the research purpose, procedures, and potential risks before participation.
Confidentiality
All submitted manuscripts are treated as confidential documents. Editors and reviewers must not disclose or use unpublished material for personal advantage.
Confidentiality must be maintained throughout the review and publication process.
Funding Source
Authors must disclose all sources of funding that supported their research.
The role of the funding body in study design, data collection, analysis, or publication must be clearly stated to ensure transparency.
Clinical Trials Registration
For studies involving clinical trials, authors must provide registration details from a recognized clinical trial registry.
This ensures transparency, accountability, and ethical compliance in clinical research.
Human & Animal Research
Research involving human participants or animals must comply with relevant ethical guidelines and institutional approvals.
Authors must confirm that ethical clearance was obtained and that research was conducted in accordance with accepted standards.
Appealing Editorial Decisions
Authors have the right to appeal editorial decisions. Appeals must be submitted with valid justification and supporting evidence.
The editorial board will review appeals objectively and provide a final decision.
Citations
Authors must properly cite all sources that influenced their work.
Citation manipulation or coercive citation practices are strictly prohibited. Editors and reviewers must not request unnecessary citations to increase metrics.
Reviewer Suggestions / Exclusions
Authors may suggest potential reviewers; however, the final selection remains the responsibility of the editorial team.
Authors may also request exclusion of certain reviewers due to conflicts of interest, with proper justification.
Availability of Data & Materials
Authors are encouraged to make their data, materials, and supporting information available to ensure transparency and reproducibility.
Where applicable, datasets should be deposited in recognized repositories.
Post-publication Corrections
The journal is committed to maintaining the accuracy of the scholarly record.
Errors identified after publication will be corrected through appropriate mechanisms such as corrections, retractions, or expressions of concern.
Corrections
Minor errors that do not affect the overall results or conclusions will be corrected through formal notices linked to the original article.
Retractions
Articles may be retracted in cases of serious ethical violations such as plagiarism, data fabrication, or duplicate publication.
Retraction notices will clearly state the reason and remain permanently linked to the article.
Expressions of Concern
If there are concerns about the integrity of a published article, an expression of concern may be issued while an investigation is ongoing.
This ensures transparency and informs readers of potential issues.
